Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Her most famous role is Skyler White on Breaking Bad, an AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and in 2014 for Outstanding Supporting actress in the Drama Series. The actress also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. She fell in love acting at Preparatory school after which she moved to Ohio with her family in late 1970s. She attended theatre classes through Northwestern University and spent a period studying at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for several years, before attempting TV and movie roles. Anna was chosen to play Arden on Down the Shore in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. Anna continued to appear in movies and television shows like Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and other shows until the end of the 1990's. Then she was placed in The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. In 2008, she was picked in the role of Skyler on Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood are also a part of her acting career. Gunn was a part of David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production directed by David Schwimmer. In 2022, Gunn appeared in a series of audio play podcast called Numbered Days. The love story with Walter White and his wife Skyler is the most prominent element of the plot of Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and the eventual end of their relationship similar to the arc that was Walter White's last years of life.
